WHO IS SERATUT GECKO ?
![]() Gecko’s finger tips are covered with thin sheets just as the pages of a book. Each leaf called “seta” is covered with a special tissue.
There are an average of 5000 micro-hairs in an area up to the needle head. It means that the animal has about half a million feather on its every leg. As the research develops, excellence improves.
Each feather consists of numbers varying 400-1000 feather like extensions. Furthermore, a striking element is that the feathers are placed like facing the heels of the animal. The thickness of the each tip is five-thousandth of a millimeter. Millions of microscopic tips on Gecko’s foot stick as a glue on the surface by atom attraction.
While Gecko is stepping, it suppresses the surface and steps back slightly.
